Homebuilder Cole West was honored by Utah Governor Spencer Cox with the Utah First Homes Award, which recognizes private-sector partners that expand the supply of attainable housing. Cole West builds entry-level, multifamily, and move-up homes across Utah and Dallas, Texas. The upcoming Amara community, developed with Utah’s Trust Lands Administration and Washington City, will add an estimated 212 single-family homes priced at $450,000 or less. In his letter, Governor Cox said their progress “serves as a model for other builders.”
