The district hosted its first all-day arts and music festival on Saturday, with more than 800 students participating.
There were instrumental and vocal concerts, staged outdoors at Capistrano Valley High, as well as a visual and performing arts display.
During the pandemic, with honors concerts cancelled the last two years, students had fewer opportunities to showcase their talents. But they were front and center this weekend.
