Landsea Homes and KB Home are moving forward with projects in Ontario and Fontana that will bring 668 new homes to the Inland Empire with prices starting in the $500,000-range.
Landsea bought land in Ontario that will be the site for 144 townhomes at Eave II in its 334-home Neuhouse community.
Sales are expected to begin by the end of the year for courtyard-style residences that range from 949 to 1,510 square feet, with up to three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Prices aren’t set, but similar townhomes are priced in the mid-$500,000s in Landsea’s neighboring 120-home Eave neighborhood. So far, the builder has sold 276 homes at Neuhouse.
“We jumped at the opportunity to expand our presence,” said Tom Baine, Landsea’s Southern California division president. “Ontario is an important and very popular market for us. We have had great sales success, selling out 432 single-family homes at ShadeTree earlier this year.”
