Orange County United Way announced that Andrew Fahmy has been named the Executive Director for its United for Financial Security initiative. He will serve as the lead spokesperson for the initiative and oversee public awareness, advocacy, and signature programmatic strategies that help Orange County families address immediate challenges and set them on the path toward financial security.

Parks, President, and CEO of Orange County United Way. “His transformative thinking will advance the programmatic work of our initiative and his passion for advocacy will help expand and develop United for Financial Security’s goals to educate and inspire action. He brings entrepreneurial experience and spirit into all areas of his work and under his leadership, we will continue to ensure our families in need find financial security and thrive.”

Fahmy will lead a team of program managers and project consultants to advance community programs and strategies for OC Free Tax Prep, Orange County Emergency Food and Shelter Program, Keeping it Real OC, Covered CA Outreach and Enrollment, SparkPoint OC, and UpSkill OC.
