Landsea Homes Corp. (Nasdaq: LSEA) has paid $16 million for 155 acres in Goodyear, according to Vizzda LLC real estate database.
The Newport Beach, California-based homebuilder is essentially paying $103,225.80 per acre for the land north of the southwest corner of Citrus and Lower Buckeye Road. Leigh Austin, of Arroyo Capital, represented the buyer in the transaction, and Joan Levinson, of Realty ONE Group represented the seller, according to Vizzda.
Kaylee Smith, the new Arizona division president for Landsea Homes, said the acquisition of 155 acres, or 616 building lots, for the new master-planned community Citrus Park, is the largest homesite acquisition for the company in the Grand Canyon State to date.
