Rancho Mission Viejo’s newest neighborhood is getting 279 more homes.

The sprawling new-home project in Orange County’s southern foothills is early in the development of its third village, Rienda, which opened for sale this spring. Rienda’s first construction phase — 671 homes in seven neighborhoods — has 178 residences sold so far with move-ins starting in July. Now come four more communities that will hit the market late in 2022.

Haven features duplex homes with one or two stories ranging from 1,116 to 1,902 square feet with two or three bedrooms and up to three bathrooms. Estimated starting prices in the mid-$900,000 range.

Pearl‘s single-family homes come in one or two stories, ranging from 1,595 to 2,257 square feet with two bedrooms and up to 3.5 bathrooms. Estimated starting prices in the low-$1 million range.
