The temperature was in the mid-60s in San Juan Capistrano, but students still played in the snow.
About 60 tons of icy stuff was trucked onto the campus of JSerra Catholic High School and converted into a sledding hill and snow play area.
The lunchtime activity is a way for the students to celebrate the holiday season and blow off some steam before starting finals, Activities Director Emily O’Berry said.
