Orange County United Way has donated 30,000 face masks to the County of Orange Social Services Agency. The agency was running low on personal protective equipment for its nearly 30,000 in-home care providers and sought donations for face coverings and surgical masks in May, according to OC United Way. The face masks were donated through OC United Way’s Pandemic Relief Effort, which supports low-income individuals and families at imminent risk of homelessness, the current Orange County population experiencing homelessness, and vital social and human services.
