Fran Quinn came to Newport Beach Country Club at 11-under-par Sunday morning, with the Hoag Classic under his thumb.
He was a four-time champion on the Triple-A Tour, back when it was named Nationwide, and he had two Asian Tour trophies and a couple of state open championships in New England, back in the previous century.
