Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian is venturing into the world of home health.

The Newport Beach-based health system, with $1.1 billion in annual revenue for the trailing 12 months ended Sept. 30, 2020, recently announced the launch of Hoag at Home.

The new offering aims to provide affordable at-home healthcare for the aging population via skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, and medical social services.

“People are living and staying mobile longer, and there are more ways to allow people to age in place,” Chief Executive Robert Braithwaite said.
