In a court-approved sale, Landsea Homes took ownership of a land parcel in Glendale, where the Newport Beach, California-based homebuilder plans to build a new master-planned community.

Landsea Homes paid $6.3 million for the vacant land, closing the deal on Aug. 16, according to Tempe-based Vizzda LLC real estate database.

The sale was approved in Arizona Superior Court on Aug. 4, with records showing the deal was required to close within 10 days of that hearing. Landsea (Nasdaq: LSEA) executives confirmed the deal had closed.
